Monday, August 3rd, 2009
- Depart on overnight flight to Glasgow, Scotland.
Tuesday, August 4th, 2009
- Upon arrival met by bus & transfer to accommodations at the beautiful campus of the University of Stirling.
- Settle in and relax – first meal is dinner this evening with optional light evening practice session.
Wednesday, August 5th, 2009
- Enjoy a free day to visit Scotland's largest city, Glasgow, or take your team to visit and tour the stadium of Glasgow Celtic FC. Enjoy the chance to learn the history of one of the world’s oldest soccer clubs, formed in 1888. Tour the 67, 000 seat stadium, and visit the superstore and museum.
- This evening participate in your first international friendly game with a local club team.
Thursday, August 6th, 2009
- Spend the day sightseeing in Edinburgh. Edinburgh has everything you would expect and more from Scotland's historic Capital. Visit Edinburgh Castle as it stands guard over the city, and then explore the many shops and restaurants on Princess Street, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Museum of Scotland, and the Royal Botanic Garden are all well worth a visit.
- 7.00 pm Leaders' and coaches Welcome Meeting.
Friday, August 7th, 2009
- This morning, enjoy free time to explore the city of Stirling. Witness the beauty of Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, and enjoy a stroll through the bustling downtown area.
- Tonight you participate in your first international tournament game v a local club at Stirling University.
Saturday, August 8th, 2009
- Loch Lomond Festival games continue today.
- The Loch Lomond International Disco takes place this evening on the campus of Stirling University.
Sunday, August 9th, 2009
- Loch Lomond Festival final day of games with presentation of awards at 5:30pm. The Loch Lomond International Disco takes place this evening.
Monday, August 10th, 2009
- Enjoy a day Trip to Glasgow - see the magnificent Glasgow Cathedral, Provans' Lordship - the oldest house in the city; Glasgow Green - ideal for walks and visiting the People's Palace; Merchant City - marvel at the mansions, banks and warehouse buildings built by Glasgow's wealthy merchant traders; City Chambers - Glasgow City Council's magnificent headquarters in George Square; Glasgow School of Art - designed by world-famous architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the wonderful Victorian architecture - Glasgow's elegant streets are lined with some of the most beautifully preserved Victorian buildings.
